Kelly Haramis rediscovered her love of improv and theatre after a 12-year stint as a journalist (6 of those years at the Chicago Tribune). In addition to her BA in Journalism and Theatre Arts minor from Penn State, Kelly is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory as well as the iO Chicago Training Center. She has appeared on such stages as the Montreal Fringe Festival, FRIGID NY, Chicago Fringe Festival, Minnesota Fringe Festival, Orlando Fringe Festival, Den Theatre, Public House Theatre, DeMaat Theater, Chicago Improv Festival, Playground Theater, Studio Be, Urban Stages (New York, NY–as part of the Del Close Marathon) and Firehouse Theatre (Ithaca, NY). When Kelly is not on-stage performing in plays, improv or storytelling, you can find her writing everything from Facebook updates to freelance articles, teaching improv/acting to children, watching “Las Chicas Del Cable,” “Riverdale,” and “Broad City” and making dye-free, sugar-free, corn-free cupcakes with her two preteen daughters.
